brush off 敷衍

你一定知道brush (v.)刷，但是你知道brush off是什麼意思嗎? 請看以下的場景。

 

1.

A: I commented on her new post, but she brushed off my message.

B: Maybe she didn’t see it.  

A: 我在她的新貼文留言，但她不理我的留言。

B: 大概她沒有看到吧。

 

2.

A: Did you ask Jenny about joining the program?

B: Yes, but she just brushed me off. She said she was busy but didn’t really explain.

A: 你有問Jenny要不要參加這個課程嗎?

B: 有，但是她只是敷衍我，她說她很忙，但也沒有真的解釋。

 

3.

A: Are you brushing me off?

B: No, I am not brushing you off. I am just really busy right now.

A: 你在敷衍我?

B: 沒有，我沒有在敷衍你，我只是真的很忙。

 

這裡的brush off是敷衍或是不理會，你會了嗎?

嗆司曲 = chance 曲

  Dear all, 你是熱衷的棒球迷嗎 ? 昨日的澳洲和台灣打的精彩，台灣也因此晉級四強。場上也出現了好多很神奇的現象，尤其是美美的啦啦隊和聲嘶力竭吶喊的觀眾 ! 當然還缺少不了一些神奇的用語，以下的幾個用語其實都很特別，不知道大家對於這些用語的認知是甚麼呢 ? 有點太難了 ….   1. 應援曲 大家對於應援曲 ( 支持球員的歌唱曲 ) 應該很能直接理解。   2. 嗆司曲 = chance 曲 嗆司曲看起來就有點很奇怪的中文，如果用英文，那麼嗆司就是 chance ，就是機會的意思，按照啦啦隊樂天女孩的解釋，嗆司曲目啦啦隊在編曲的時候是用來振奮士氣，因為機會 chance 來了，所以啦啦隊燜們帶動大家製造氣氛，希望能讓球隊得分。   * 若是我來做解譯，可能會覺得這是英文的 chance music ，隨機的音樂，由表演者臨時因應需要隨機編出的音樂 ….     3.Team Taiwan = 挺台灣 不知道是誰發明的，但是中文也可翻成挺台灣 (Team Taiwan) ，和英文同音，這也是很神奇。   你們的見解是什麼呢 ? 來分享一下吧 !
